On Dec. 18, 2014, four scholars from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, visited Kaohsiung Medical University.  Under the lead of Professor Soenarto Sastrowijo, specialized in Ear, Nose& Throat Surgery and Bioethics, Division of Biomedical & Clinical Sciences. To welcome these honorable guest, KMU prepared a specially organised meeting for the guests according to their field of interests and academic background, which was greatly received from their hearty discussions concerning the realizaiton and combination of humanities and medicine. Four scholars from Indonesia visited two Department of Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital, the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Imaging Department. Professor Duu-Jian Tsai, vice dean of Medicine, also served as the tour guide and led them to the Surgical Skill Learning Center, thoroughly expounding the function of the center and how the class would be organized. All the guest marveled at the progress and scale of KMU's affiliated Hospital as well as the picturesque campus.
