On Nov. 17 2014, under the lead of Vice President Yi-Ming Chen, delegates from Kaohsiung Medical University (herein called KMU) signed Memorandum of University with Tulane University (herein abbreviated as Tulane). Tulane’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is the oldest academy in public health and also the sole School that covers Tropical Medicine in the USA. Tulane established in 1834 is renowned for its rigid academic training to students. KMU progressively affiliates herself with famous and outstanding Universities like Tulane in an attempt to build a well-founded academic network for research as well as for learning. Hopefully, KMU and Tulane will have more academic communication and collaboration in the near future.
