Warm greetings from IBCEx 2018!
We are truly pleased to invite the students of your university to join the 4th International Biotechnology Competition and Exhibition (IBCEx 2018), which will be held on 13th and 14th April 2018 at Dewan Sultan Iskandar, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
IBCEx 2018 is an innovation competition organized by Bioprocess Engineering Student Society (BIOSS), from Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering (FCEE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru, Johor. Carrying the same concept from the previous IBCEx 2017, this program is organized to provide a great opportunity for students from various local and international institutions to compete and exhibit their creative innovations in biotechnology throughout this competition.
In this competition, given the theme “TOWARDS A GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY”, we open all categories of innovation for participants so that they can choose and showcase their best innovation, be it innovation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, fermentation technology, food and drinks innovations, energy and environment management, or any other types of innovation related to biotechnology.
This competition provides a great platform for participants to engage with other communities who share mutual interests and passion for research and education innovation in the field of biotechnology throughout the event.

If you felt this competition would be of interest to your students, we would be very grateful if you could kindly help promote them through appropriate channels on your campus. Universities are welcomed to send a team of 3 participants and 1 chaperone with the group.
