Key Points and Objectives of the Activity : This activity aims to enhance international students’ understanding of the employment environment in Taiwan and deepen their knowledge of Hopax International’s corporate culture and research and development directions. By inviting a Malaysian employee currently working at Hopax International to share experiences, the session will illustrate their journey of seeking employment in Taiwan, practical aspects of R&D work, and adaptation to the workplace. This will help international students grasp the realities of working in Taiwan and explore possible career development opportunities. Through sharing and exchange, the event seeks to boost international students’ confidence in pursuing careers in Taiwan and encourage their willingness to join the local workforce in the future. Features of the Activity and Implementation Details: The lecturer delivered the session in a lively and humorous manner, covering topics such as the points-based system, the Employment Gold Card, personal experience in obtaining permanent residency (APRC), and the job-seeking process. She also introduced an overview of Hopax, including its corporate vision, workforce size, and both local and overseas branches. In the concluding Q&A session, students responded enthusiastically, raising numerous questions, which the lecturer and her colleague patiently addressed one by one, highlighting the high level of interaction and engagement throughout the event. |
