Key Points and Objectives of the Activity : This activity centers on regulations related to visas and Alien Resident Certificates (ARC) for international students in Taiwan. The key topics include visa application procedures, entry requirements, ARC online application operations, application fees, rules for extension and information updates, as well as the handling of ARC in cases of suspension, withdrawal, or graduation. The purpose of the activity is to provide comprehensive legal explanations and practical demonstrations to enhance international students’ understanding and proper use of the ARC, helping them comply with regulations in both academic and daily life, avoid unnecessary difficulties or penalties caused by insufficient information, and ultimately improve their sense of security and convenience while studying in Taiwan. Features of the Activity and Implementation Details: The activity was conducted in the form of a lecture, where the instructor used presentations to guide participants step by step in becoming familiar with the online ARC application process through the National Immigration Agency’s website. Case studies were shared to help participants better understand common issues and related penalties. A Q&A session was arranged at the end of the course to provide personalized answers, enhancing both interaction and practicality. Participants responded enthusiastically, actively raising their own questions, and the instructor offered timely advice and solutions. |
