Topic: Recruitment of 1 Ph.D. Candidate to apply for Asia International Educational Program for Graduate Students in the Field of Occupational Health

Enclosed is the guidebook of 2018 Application Procedures and Application Forms by University of Occupational and Environmental Health

 

Explanation:

Course Duration:  April 1, 2018~March 31, 2022

Eligibility:

  1. Must be citizens of Asian Countries other than Japan
  2. Age: 24~35
  3. Academic Background: hold either a Medical Degree or a Master’s degree(in western medical or public health) from an accredited university
  4. Language abilities: English, as a common used language for instruction and research guidance in the program; Japanese, entry level competency would be desirable
  5. Applicants must graduate by March of 2018 and study in this program in April, 2018.

Types of Scholarships:

Scholarship A

  1. Exempted Registration Fee, Exempted Tuition Fees, and Exempted Residence rental (*electricity, water, laundry and phone charges are self-born)
  2. Stipend: 80,000 yen per month (paid for research assistant work)
  3. Length of Scholarship: 4 years during taking the course

Scholarship B

  1. 282,000 yen for registration fee, 535,800 yen for Tuition Fees and 30,000 yen per month for residence rental.
  2. Stipend: 80,000 yen per month (paid for research assistant work)
  3. Length of Scholarship: 4 years during taking course

*Students who apply for Scholarship B could apply for another scholarship to cover whole or half of the tuition fees. Further details please refer to the guidebook as the attachment.

-A color copy of passport

-Recommendation Letter (from president or dean)

-Curriculum Vitae (Form B)

-Publication lists (Form C)

-Research interest and perspectives (400 words)

-Certificate of Completion and Grade Transcript (University and graduate School only)

-Certification of Degree (University and graduate School only)

-Certificate of Employment or Research History

-Others (2 copy of pictures, copy of family register, applicant information sheet as in Form D, and results of internationally-recognized English Language Skill Test and/or JLPT ). For further details of requirements, please refer to attachment.
