International Chemical Disaster Training(Taiwan-Southeast Asia Regional Cooperation Study and Training Program - HAZMAT Training in Taiwan)
This is a HAZMAT Training for students from South and East Asian Countries and it's supported by the Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau, Environmental Protection Administration.
The training will be held in June or July this year, and it will be a three-day course.
I. Training content
Visit to Taiwan's relating chemical disaster response unit. (Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau, National Fire Agency Training Center, Emergency Response Information Center(ERIC), Environmental Incidents Specialist Team, …etc)
Southeast Asian international students (Vietnamese, Filipinos, Malaysians, Indians, Thais, Nepalese, …etc) who had never participated in the training class in the past years.
Students major in departments relating to Chemicals (Engineering), Environmental (Engineering), and Occupational Safety and Health.
Preference is given to Graduate and Doctoral Students. Also, College Students are welcomed to apply.
III. Training Location：
Tentatively located at National Fire Agency Training Center, Ministry of the Interior and National Yunlin University of Science and Technology.
IV. Training Fee：
Full-Sponsored training (including training, meals, and Taiwan railways round trip tickets.)
We will conduct a preliminary qualification review, and then will notify qualified trainees of the preliminary review to provide relevant training materials.
Detailed training schedule and program will be notified to trainees by email once finalized.
If this training is canceled due to some reasons or any force majeure factor, we will also notify every student by email.
