Qiqihar Medical University established in 1946 dedicates to cultivating students’ spirit of humanities and language skills in order to enhance global view in combination with the training of medical specialists. KMU has been targeted at research and teaching as parallel buttress of long-term development. With common interests on fields of study, both universities would like to construct solid foundation for future collaboration. KMU has signed Memorandum of Understanding with more than 10 universities from China including Peking University, Zhejiang University, Nan Jing Medical University, Southeast University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, etc. since March of 2014. In 2015, a variety of collaboration is in progress such as exchange student program with China’s partner schools. Jay, C. J. Jeng, Dean for Office of Global Affairs suggests a lot more collaboration is expected to come in view. With competition across the strait, we expect more stimulation would come along with such exchange program proposed and progressed.
