On June 10, 2015 Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) and Hokkaido University (HU) in Japan established academic collaboration at College level. Hokkaido University's Scholars for Faculty of Health Sciences, Dean, Hiroyuki Date, Professor Tadayoshi Asaka and Ms. Hana Denda visited KMU for Sign ceremony. Hokkaido University, a celebrated university, is known for her health care in Hokkaido, Japan. This academic collaboration stands for KMU's area of collaborations reaching from the northeast to the southeast of Japan, from Hokkaido to Nagasaki. This collaboration would also constitute more consolidated collaborative relationships between the two contracted College and Faculty. Hopefully, the collaboration would reach out to other colleges/schools in KMU as well as HU. Both Universities held positive attitudes towards this long-term partnership; henceforth, both universities also signed Notation for Student Exchange to ensure the substantial relations in the future.
