In 2013, KMU and Griffith established the formal partnership which was based on the long term collaboration, especially in the fields of Medicine and Nursing.  Besides Medicine and Nursing, both Griffith and KMU also have common fields in Dentistry, Pharmacy, Medical Science, Health Science, Human Services and Social Work.  To strengthen the great collaboration experience, two universities renew their MoU on June 4, 2019 to continue the solid partnership and to encourage more teaching and research collaboration.

  Following Taiwan Government’s policies, KMU immerses education with medical service together to promote the healthcare system in Solomon Islands.  KMU Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital has built a collaboration with Solomon Islands National Referral Hospital since 2006.  Moreover, KMU has established a formal partnership with Solomon Islands National University (SINU) since 2013.  There have been 18 students from Solomon Islands pursuing their higher degrees at KMU since 2009. 11 of them had graduated and come back to Solomon Islands to do their professional service already. To enhance the partnership, between both SINU and KMU, on their way to Griffith University, renewed their MoU on June 6, 2019.

  With mutual exchange, we hope that we can enhance not only the medical education quality but also the research collaboration in the coming future.
