2014 Taiwan Festivals & Me
- Purpose:2014 Taiwan Festivals & Me project is aimed to invite Mongolian students currently studying in Taiwan, to share personal experience of cultural festivals in Taiwan, such as Chinese Lunar New Year, Lantern Festival, Tomb Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Moon Festival, and Double Ninth Festival, and/or compare the similarities or differences with Mongolian tradition, through a video project. Winners will be awarded with prizes: Champion NT$5,000, Runner-up NT$3,000, 3rd Place NT$2,000.
- Participants:Mongolian students who are currently studying in Taiwan, including degree seekers, exchange and Mandarin students.
- Application Deadline:from now until October 31st Friday, 2014
- Application Method:
- Download Registration Form from Taiwan Education Center Mongolia website (www.tecm.org.tw).
- Make Personal Video Project presented in English or Chinese (length in 5 minutes).
- Together with Registration Form, submit Video Project in file or via weblink (http://) by emailing to ivy@mail.mcu.edu.tw before October 31st Friday, 2014.
- Please abide by Intellectual Property Right. Do not download or copy other people’s work.
- Video Content:video project should be presented in English or Chinese (length in 5 minutes), through motion pictures, photos, word scripts or narration, to share Personal Experience of Taiwan Festivals.
- Video Selection:Top three video projects will be selected according to topic, structure, presentation and vividability. Selection result will be announced on November 10th Monday on Taiwan Education Center Mongolia website (www.tecm.org.tw). Winners shall attend the 2014 5th Gathering and Fun Competition for Mongolian Students in Taiwan, on November 21st Friday, (location: Ming Chuan University Taoyuan campus) to present video project, share a few words in Mongolian, and collect the prizes.
