外交部臺灣獎學金 MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program
These guidelines are stipulated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for the implementation of the Taiwan Scholarship Program (hereinafter the “Scholarship”), which aims to encourage outstanding international students to study in Taiwan, as well as to promote bilateral exchanges and friendship between the peoples of Taiwan and its diplomatic allies. The Scholarship is, in principle, granted to students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan. However, special consideration may also be given to students from other countries.
The MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program provides the following for each outstanding international student scholarship recipient who comes to Taiwan to undertake a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or doctorate:
Scholarship recipients will be given one-way, economy-class plane tickets for direct flights to and from Taiwan.
² Living allowance
→University: Monthly stipend oNTD30,000, up to 4 years
→Master: Monthly stipend oNTD30,000, up to 2 years
→PhD: Monthly stipend oNTD30,000, up to 4 years
Below are the guidelines for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MOFA) Taiwan Scholoarship Program
Eligibility:
Students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan
Application period:
February 1 to March 31 every year
How to appply:
Applicants should submit the required documents to the ROC diplomatic mission responsible for their home country
Date of announcement:
Before June 30 every year
Others:
Recipients would be disqualify from the Scholarship if they violate regulations or fail to achieve required academic scores
