國合會30周年「國合三十・共創新局」新書茶會
財團法人國際合作發展基金會（International Cooperation and Development Fund, ICDF），本 (115)年適逢成立30周年，本校受邀出席115年8月14日(五)「國合三十・共創新局」新書茶會，由本校余明隆校長、黃友利副校長及國際事務處高佳麟國際長出席共襄盛舉，共同見證國合會成立30年來推動國際合作與援外工作的發展歷程。
《國合30・共創新局》以國合會30年國際合作實踐為主軸，記錄臺灣由受援經驗逐步轉向國際合作夥伴的發展歷程，並呈現國合會推動國際援助、人才培育及各項合作計畫的實務經驗。
國合會長期透過國際合作計畫推動醫療衛生、教育及人才培育等領域之國際合作，其中「國際高等人力培訓外籍生獎學金計畫」與本處國際學生及國際交流業務密切相關，此外，附設中和紀念醫院也攜手與國合會共同執行「索馬利蘭醫療資訊管理效能提升計畫」，協助當地導入臺灣開發之整合性醫療資訊系統，持續發揮醫學及教育專業的力量。
KMU Joins ICDF’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, Highlighting Three Decades of International Cooperation
The International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) was invited to attend the “30 Years of ICDF: Creating a New Chapter Together” Book Tea Reception on August 14, 2026. KMU President Ming-Lung Yu, Vice President Yu-Li Huang, and Vice President for Global Affairs Chia-Lin Kao attended the event, joining distinguished guests in commemorating the ICDF’s three decades of promoting international cooperation and development assistance.
The commemorative publication, 30 Years of ICDF: Creating a New Chapter Together, traces the ICDF’s three-decade journey in international cooperation. It documents Taiwan’s transition from a recipient of international assistance to a partner in international development, while highlighting the ICDF’s experience in implementing international assistance initiatives, talent development programs, and a wide range of international cooperation projects.
Over the years, the ICDF has promoted international cooperation in areas including healthcare, education, and talent development through various development projects. Among these initiatives, the International Higher Education Scholarship Program for Foreign Students is closely connected to the work of KMU’s Office of Global Affairs in international student affairs and global academic exchange.
KMU has also maintained a close partnership with the ICDF through its Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital. The two parties jointly implemented the Somaliland Healthcare Information Management Capacity Enhancement Project, which supports the introduction of an integrated healthcare information system developed in Taiwan to strengthen local healthcare information management. Through its continued engagement in international cooperation, KMU brings together its strengths in medicine, healthcare, and education to contribute professional expertise and support sustainable international development.
