一、 活動重點及目的(Key Points and Objectives of theActivity ):
對於繁複的國外研究所申請流程,包括準備方向、CV 與 SOP 的撰寫,以及面試技巧等,對於剛開始規劃的學生而言皆是一大挑戰。因此,希望透過校友的實務經驗分享,協助學生釐清準備方向,並進一步提升申請的完整度與效率。
The overseas graduate school application process is complex, encompassing preparation strategies, the writing of CVs and statements of purpose (SOPs), as well as interview skills. These aspects present significant challenges for students who are just beginning to plan their applications. Therefore, through the sharing of alumni’s practical experiences, this initiative aims to help students clarify their preparation direction and further enhance the completeness and efficiency of their applications.
二、 活動特色及執行情形(Features of the Activity and Implementation Details):
本活動特別邀請吳鈴若校友返校分享。吳校友現正就讀於美國艾克朗大學高分子科學與高分子工程博士班,畢業於高雄醫學大學醫藥暨應用化學系碩士班,以及香粧品學系學士班。其自申請國外研究所至成功錄取,全程皆親自規劃與準備,未委託任何代辦。透過分享自身赴海外求學的實際經驗,讓學生對國外研究所申請流程有更深入的認識。活動現場反應熱烈,不僅提升學生參與度,也進一步激發學生對未來學習與發展的嚮往與期待。
This event specially invited alumna Ling-Jo,Wu to return to campus and share her experiences. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in School of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering in the United States. She holds a master’s degree in Medicinal and Applied Chemistry and a bachelor’s degree in Fragrance and Cosmetic Science, both from Kaohsiung Medical University. From applying to overseas graduate programs to successfully gaining admission, she independently planned and prepared every step of the process without relying on any application agencies. By sharing her firsthand experiences of studying abroad, students gained a deeper understanding of the overseas graduate school application process. The event received enthusiastic responses, not only enhancing student engagement but also inspiring greater aspirations and expectations for their future academic and career development.
