2018 Cultural Activity in Northern Taiwan on Nov. 25 2018臺灣文化體驗活動在三峽

In order to give international students opportunities to learn more about the culture of Taiwan and become acquainted with Taiwanese lifestyle. We welcome you to join this event.


 ◆ Date 日期: Nov. 25, 2018

 ◆ Meeting point 集合地點: Banqiao Train Station 板橋火車站 

 ◆ Gathering time 集合時間: 10:00 AM 
 
◆ Participants 參加對象:
    (1) Host families 接待家庭
    (2) International students who currently study in Taiwan 在臺灣就讀大學的國際學生

*We will match you with a host family in this activity. 
在活動當中我們將會為你配對至一戶接待家庭
*It's an one-day-activity and there's no stay in host family's house. 
僅為單日活動，無須在接待家庭家中過夜 
 ◆ Fee 費用: Free for all participants. 免費參與 (Participants are responsible for the transportation to the meeting point. 參加者必須自行前往集合地點)

(1) After completing online registration process, print out the  registration form and complete the paper form, including the seals of school organizing personnel and unit division. 完成線上報名表單後，請印出報名表格並完成報名表下方由學校承辦人或學校單位的蓋章
(2)Scan or photograph the paper form then send via email to hostfamily@stust.edu.tw before Nov. 13, 2018 to complete the application procedure.掃描或拍照完整的表格並於11/13報名截止前email至計畫信箱

(1) Please bring your water bottle, rain gear, hat and sun care products.
(2) Remember to wear comfortable, casual clothes and shoes.

(3) The final result depends on whether you are matched to a host family or not and will be sent to your email before Nov. 15, 2018. Please wait patiently.

Cultural Activity－Culture Experience文化體驗
Sanxia District is rich in cultural and historical sites as well as unique natural resources. As an important source of blue dye plants, Sanxia District was once a major town in the traditional dyeing industry.
This time, we invite host families and foreign students to participate in a cultural tour of Sanxia and experience blue dyeing. Through the activity, we hope to improve everyone's understanding of Taiwanese traditional culture and traditional hand crafts.
