2020 Cultural Activity in Taipei

In 1950 to 1960, Soap industry in Taiwan was booming. Many different soap companies were producing many different flavors of soap. Following the traditional process, tea soap is different from others. In order to give overseas students more insight of local culture with Taiwan host family, Taiwan Hostfamily Program organizes “DIY your own special tea soap”. We invite overseas students and host families get to know each other during the activity and learn Taiwanese history of Soap industry.

Meet up point: Dingpu MRT station, Taipei

Gathering time: 12:50-13:15 7 November , 2020 

Participants: Overseas students who currently study in Taiwanese universities
