Signing Memorandum of Understanding with University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.

Prof. Hsiu-Hung Wang, Vice President of Kaohsiung Medical University, together with Prof. Fang-Rong Chang, Vice Dean of Global Affairs and Prof. Chin-Chung Wu, Director of Graduate Institute of Natural Products, visited University of Santo Tomas (UST), Philippines. Prof. Hsiu-Hung Wang signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of KMU with Prof. Maribel G. Nonato, Vice Rector of USTon April 26th .

Regent of Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Deans of College of Science, Faculty of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, Director of Research Center for the Natural and Applied Sciences from UST also attended the Memorandum Signing Ceremony to witness this great event.

In addition to the MoU signing, UST kindly arranged the meeting for Prof. Hsiu-Hung Wang and Dean of College of Nursing, UST to enhance the mutual understanding and discuss the possibility of further collaboration between the two institutions.

Meanwhile, our delegates from Graduate Institute of Natural Products joined the Joint Symposium on Natural Products research held by Research Center for Natural and Applied Sciences, UST. Prof. Chin-Chung Wu extended the opening remarks while Prof. Fang-Rong Chang delivered Plenary Lecture on behalf of KMU.

Established in 1611, University of Santo Tomas is the oldest university in Asia. Both UST and KMU have earned their own places by providing the highest quality of education and research. Through the MoU signing, we firmly believe that we will be capable of developing even stronger collaborative program and more closely-bonded relationship between UST and KMU in the future.
