The annual event, 11th Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE), was co-hosted at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center, MCEC by 9 universities on February 29 to March 3, 2016.  Dean for Office of Global Affairs, Cherng-Jye Jeng, and Ms. Alice Lin had attended the annual fair in an attempt to broadcast our university and utilize this opportunity to consolidate our global networking.  On this occasion, KMU representatives met partner schools’ delegates, which not only helped consolidate partnerships but also offered great opportunities for both parties to enter into specific discussion on student exchange.  KMU now heads towards more substantial collaboration after construction partnerships, which will in the near future open a door for our local students’ internationalization in different fields of interests.  In the meantime, KMU met representative from our partner schools, e.g. Keio University, Tsukuba University, Hokkaido University, Kinki University, Jilin University, Deakin University, University of Malaya and Chulalongkorn University, etc.

The annually APAIE Conference and Exhibition would be held in March every year. Our alliance school, National Sun Yat Sen University (NSYSU), bids to host 12nd APAIE in 2017.  KMU would co-host the 2017 APAIE with NSYSU and would best double benefits to all attending universities.
